Following a brief presentation of the book:
If consensus on the structural limits of our economy (legislation, bureaucratic, inefficient public administration, a slow judicial system, an old university-school system, low investment in capital human and innovation) is unanimous on the weaknesses of the production system and possible strategies for its revival reviews of economists and observers seem to differ greatly. According to some, the intricate family relationships, business and local linking together Italian companies form the basis of the fundamental ills of our economy: lack of competition, small size, low capitalization and weak appetite for growth. According to others, on the contrary, capitalism, family, business networks and local roots would be the factors that made possible the second industrial miracle of the eighties and that, if supported by a set of structural reforms, will revive our economy. With this volume are compared to the opposing views, based on a thorough analysis of the different aspects of the phenomenon of business networks (formal and informal) and their links with the territory.
